Janssen Bags & Accessories is a joint venture between Gonnie Janssen and SL Lederwaren b.v. Designer Gonnie Janssen graduated in 3D Design at the prestigious Art Academy in Utrecht, The Netherlands, and is responsible for the product design. For the development and production of each bag a partnership with Peter van der Sandt, owner of SL Lederwaren b.v., was established. This company has a long history of specialized design and production of a variety of bags. Together this young and ambitious duo is striving to create a new trend in Dutch bag Design.
The new collection was internationally launched at 95th Mipel 2009 in Milan, the leading European bags show. And successfully! Janssen Bags was nominated for the Mipel Innovation Award.
